To appreciate each one in our life as a teacher is an important value, and each adult of the school is expected to emulate and demonstrate this. The school expects students to learn the value of respect-respect not only for elders, but for all living and non-living things that are part of their environment. Discipline is not about imposition or restriction, but a factor of intrinsic motivation. The staff and students of Veer Bhagat Singh Vidyalaya build relationships on the basis of sensitivity and not fear. Towards this, practices are established to support the human resources of the school.

STAFF:  
The value placed on learning can never be too high. We are all learners, doers and teachers. The HR provides various opportunities for teachers, parents and students to interact with each other through informal discussions, workshops, information sheets, and training programmes. They provide exposure and facilitate the growth of the school with the participation of its parents and staff.

PARENTS:  
Various schedules through the year help parents understand and contribute to the schools growth plan.

Parent Teacher Association:
The PTA is an active and cohesive group of parents and teachers who meet regularly to plan, discuss and execute their duties. They are encouraged to reach out to all parents and create awareness, share ideas and values that will benefit the student and chalk out the role of the community in supporting the future adult.

Access Days/Open House:  
Every 2 months, parents are invited to the school to interact with the class teacher, discuss about their child's performance and plan his progress. On Access Days, parents have a first hand view of the classroom process, and actually see their child as a confident and able young student.

Suggestion Boxes:  
For parents with an active interest in helping the school, the suggestion box provides opportunities for feedback, appreciation and suggestions.

Workshops :  
Parents and students are invited for workshops that deal with topics that are of concern to them. Students of the Senior School attend annual workshops, which deal with topics such as peer pressure, conflict resolution, emotion management, making choices and exploring the self. At critical transitional points of the students’ school life, parents are invited to share ideas, views and information on issues such as TV watching, stress management, learning styles and the child, creating healthy and nurturing environments at home.

Our Central Departments :
The BCG schools are facilitated in their functioning by the Department of Research and Human Resource Development. The Department provides services to all the BCG schools, and continually strives towards enhancing the quality of education provided to students.

The Department of Research prepares all curricular material guided by the CEO to make learning interacting and meaningful. The Department of HRD provides services to all schools for growth and development of their staff, parents and students.
