A variety of creative and stimulating material and structered activities are provided in the classroom. This combined with the competency method, is directed at developing skills and competencies in each subject equiping the child with a strong academic foundation.
Field trips and Excursions:
There is no substitute for experience, and all students from every section are sent on regular field-trips as part of their curriculum. The younger children see basic civic and community processes, along with an appreciation for the living environment of plants, animals and human activity. The older students visit places of historical, geographical or aesthetic significance in excursions planned annually. They also learn to manage relationships with peers, live in peaceful co-existence and respect differences of thought, life-style and beliefs.
Co-curricular Activities:
Drawing, Craft, Music, Dance, Drama and Physical Training are essential in the expression of the individual nature of the child, his self-awareness, and creativity. These subjects are taught along with the core subjects during the school hours as part of a structured time-table.
Extra-curricular Activities:
Every child is unique and has a liking towards different things like Gymnastics, Bharatnatyam, Western Music, Basket Ball, Football, Handball, Athletics and Skating. the school has taken an intiative to teach these activities to the interested students outside school hours. Trained professionals guide the students for these activities and also help imbibe the values of discipline, concentration and self confidence.
